Susan has unique qualities that she brings to the table. Whether she is negotiating numbers, creating program designs, finding solutions or managing a project, she is always accessible and focused on the goals. I have known Susan in both a peer and a supervisor role. As a peer she is the “go to person” and a great role model. As a supervisor she has been a valued mentor with always an encouraging word and useful advice. She has helped those on her team, including myself, to grow in many ways and is always positive and respectful. Her integrity and charisma is what has captured my attention the most. Consistently balancing fiscal controls and program needs is a skill that Susan has perfected. As you may already know, standards and controls do not always align with program needs. Susan has worked diligently to find solutions and has a special knack for bringing people with opposing views together. I have found her to be a very genuine and caring person with a multitude of abilities. I have had the pleasure to work on many projects with Susan and collaborated on ideas that have flourished into assets for the Agency. Susan has set goals for herself and in the non- profit arena.
