I majored in psychology because I have a passion for helping others and understanding what made them tick. While I didn’t end up pursuing a career in psychology, those desires helped chart my professional course.Instead of continuing in psychology, I earned an MBA from Cornell University that led to a long (20+ years!) and fulfilling brand management career at Procter & Gamble. Understanding why consumers do what they do, and looking for ways to help them do it better, enabled me to launch winning innovations and build brands like Tide, COVERGIRL, and Olay. (I also had four kids (currently ranging in age from 15 to 22 years old). They challenge my understanding of human behavior on a daily basis!)
