My 30-year-old consulting practice supports the programmatic, resource development, and policy efforts of clients ranging from foundations and corporate giving programs to grass-roots and faith-based non-profits, to major social service and community development organizations, to government agencies. The services I offer include: design and interim management of grant-making programs; creation of program evaluations and "lessons learned" reports; development of strategic plans; preparation of policy papers; scripting of meetings and speeches; production of proposals and marketing materials; and provision of technical assistance and training. My fields of expertise include: housing, child welfare, HIV/AIDS, immigration, aging, youth, mental health, domestic violence, child care, education, and employment.

Responsible for preparing policy papers on child welfare issues; proposals; the FPWA annual report and other marketing materials.

I raised money from non-Jewish foundations for programs that served people other than Jews. I recommended small grants to promising programs in member organizations. I trained executive directors from member organizations to write proposals.

I raised the $2 million annual budget from private and public foundations for the economic, housing and youth development programs of this Brooklyn-based local development corporation.

Conducted research and wrote reports related to improving the productivity of emergency room procedures at Kings County Hospital and in the New York City Department of Employment Department of Contracting.
