I am a hard-working, quick-thinking team player with a diverse skill set. I am looking for a role where I can use and grow my skills to the benefit of the organisation, to develop my career and to work towards a better future for people and the planet. I am a fast learner, willing to ask questions and take the initiative. My previous employment and studies have equipped me well for roles where communication, problem-solving, analysis, and organisation are key. Working in SEO, digital marketing and website analytics with Life Group allowed me to develop data analysis skills I had learned in my Geography degree. The role involved interpreting data, translating graphs and statistics into opportunities and problems for clients wishing to grow their online presence. My Geography degree also involved some more strategic problem-solving, including a project to write a policy brief for delivering public services in a local authority facing austerity and growing needs, in which I achieved a First-Class mark. Bringing creativity and a critical mind, I can spot problems and imagine solutions, or find faster ways of producing outcomes.Throughout my BA and MPhil, I have consistently demonstrated that I can write well. Translating complex, opaque literature into clear, compelling arguments helped me achieve several academic awards, high marks across my essays, and a distinction in my dissertation. Working in an office environment during 2017 and the summer of 2021 has also given me experience of writing concise reports and emails for colleagues and clients. It also showed me how important it is to be sensitive, clear, and kind as you communicate in the workplace. I have also developed strong verbal communication skills in and out of my work experience. During the pandemic, I worked with students alongside UCCF staff, writing and delivering seminars and talks over zoom and in person. I also produced and hosted a podcast series, which built on my previous experience of co-hosting and co-writing a radio show on CamFM as a student. I have given talks at my local church and have been a guest speaker at two student societies in the last year. I have been encouraged and taught to speak eloquently and engagingly, and I am confident presenting ideas and fielding questions from an audience. All these roles, and juggling a Cambridge degree with extra-curriculars, have taught me to be organised, to prioritise tasks, plan ahead, and work calmly with a deadline. I am methodical and creative, and I am a positive, supportive presence in a team.
