Assistant to the (Liberal) Vice Mayors Lotta Edholm (Political Office of Schools) and Madeleine Sjöstedt (Political Office of Culture and Property) during the term of office 2010-2014. I planned and project managed meetings and events, was responsible for the political offices’response function to the public and handled referral procedures to the city management. Thanksto my efficiency and integrity, I was entrusted to be the assistant to both of the Liberal Party’sVice Mayors.

Kabul, Afghanistan

I worked for the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, which is a development agency within the Aga Khan Development Network. The Trust improves the prospects for the future in war-torn communities through the reconstruction of cultural heritage. As the contact person for funders, I organized study visits to ongoing projects and wrote reports on the funds spent. I was responsible for training Afghan colleagues and preparing monthly program reports for the headquarters in Geneva. Thanks to these efforts, the program received continued funding, and the Afghan colleagues strengthened their skills, enabling them to carry on the work after I had returned home.

Sarajevo, Bosnia And Herzegovina

I was in charge of the Sarajevo office and had personnel responsibility for three employees. I initiated collaborations with cultural institutions across the Balkans. I organized numerousconferences and workshops that led to greater understanding and trust among regional actors.This resulted in the establishment of the SEE Heritage Network, whose mission is to protect theshared cultural heritage and promote sustainable development in the region. The outcome of the work is also four independent offices in the Balkans - two in Albania, one in Kosovo and one in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pristina, Kosovo

United Nations interim administration mission in Kosovo (UNMIK). I was an advisor and coordinator for Kosovo’s participation in the Council of Europe’sreconstruction program. I ensured that various international actors collaborated and reachedagreements. Thanks to this, the program received continued funding from the Council of Europe.

Assisted in a total revision of the authority’s external website which involved cooperation with a design studio and a software company. I worked in close cooperation with the authority’s project managers/departments.

Cultural Heritage of the City 1998 was a government commission project. I was webmaster for the project’s website/contact person for 90 municipalities/20 museums for the collection of website material and assisted in press work, national marketing and to write the final report. In total 20 projects were implemented, among others a national photo marathon.
