I'm a Director and co-founder of Scout Talent Group, operating since 2001 with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Vancouver and Manila.I'm also a Non-executive Director Healthy Workplaces (Tour de Office and Step Forward) and Editor of Recruitment Marketing Magazine.An entrepreneur who became a passionate leader and life long learner through growing a successful global organisation, Scout Talent Group, over many years and in multiple countries, these days one of my focusses is contributing to, and developing and enriching, the board of Scout Talent Group.Another passion of mine is wellness, incorporating fitness, with a particular interest in workplace wellness. I'm a non-Executive Director of Healthy Workplaces, which runs the well known Tour de Office and Step Forward initiatives, that have raised well over $1m for Australian and Canadian charities whilst promoting healthy workplaces, office fun and camaraderie.I'm keenly aware of the challenges many workplaces face when it comes to talent acquisition, and for 20 years have been focussed on the art and science of recruitment and talent acquisition through Scout Talent Group, and our previous Employment Office brand. Today, we are a pioneering Talent Acquisition technology company with over 1100 SaaS clients worldwide. During our 20 year history we've survived and flourished through the GFC, the global pandemic, revenue growth phases, consolidation phases and everything in between. Our strong focus has always been on people, productivity and profitability as well as on strategic vision, rapid market changes and technological opportunities (most recently AI which is a passion) and growing our market footprint globally.Scout Talent offers an innovative service-enabled software suite that accelerates the shortlisting and selection process, identifies future leaders and enhances the ability of an organisation to acquire the best talent.I've recently completed and successfully graduated from my AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors) course. Why? Because I believe in the value of boards of directors, believe I can contribute here, as I'm passionate about the development of thriving workplace cultures, how business meets community, and organisational strategy & growth whilst maintaining productivity and profitability.Entrepreneurship, sales & marketing, business growth, strategy and productivity are very much in my DNA.
