Becoming a designer was never the dream I envisioned for myself. In truth, I didn’t have a clear vision at all—just a confused child, drifting through waves of uncertainty. But looking back, I realize that art had already claimed a corner of my heart long before I even understood it.Being a studious kid since childhood had already painted a picture of what was expected of me. My parents, society—everyone assumed I would be a doctor or an architect—two titles that symbolized respect and security. So, I entered the field of biology in my +2 years, believing this path would lead me to the future I was “meant” to have. But despite studying at one of the best colleges, my heart wasn’t in it. The books, the formulas, the structure—it all felt hollow. A quiet regret settled in, a constant reminder that I was on the wrong journey.After graduation, when I was expected to prepare for entrance exams, I knew deep down I had to find my way back to art. But the options were endless, and my heart hesitated, unsure of the direction. One day, in a quiet moment of reflection, I flipped through my old sketchbooks. And there they were—the forgotten drawings from my childhood. Princesses in extravagant gowns, characters wearing big dresses that only existed in my imagination. I even used glitter pens to make them sparkle—a little detail that seemed so magical for that young version of me. In that very moment, I realized it. Art, design, fashion—it had always been there, quietly whispering in my heart long before I ever knew what to call it.Those sketches, though simple and playful, unlocked something deep inside me. I realized this wasn’t just a passing interest—it was where I truly belonged. And I’m grateful I chose to follow that spark, to step into the world I had once been too afraid to embrace fully.Now, equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in BA (Hons) in Fashion and Retailing from one of Nepal’s best fashion institution, I’m building my career in fashion with a focus on bringing both creativity and technical expertise into every project. My academic journey and hands-on experience in the industry have given me practical knowledge in design, styling, and marketing, along with a deep understanding of the evolving needs of consumers.With this solid foundation, I’m excited to contribute fresh perspectives to the fashion industry and bring new ideas to life. The journey has just begun, and there’s still so much more ahead!
