Ms Siegel is from Piedmont, California, now living in San Diego, California. A respected voice in health care, wellness and prevention, she brings over 25 years experience. Susan was the face and voice of Doctors Medical Center, where she realized the importance of, negotiated and opened the first women’s center for Tenet’s flagship in Modesto, CA. After moving to Nashville, she became Vice President of Operations for CHD Meridian, where she was responsible for 30 national, onsite health care clinics and $55,000,000 of revenue. She championed wellness for the employees she served, developed the firm’s approach to provider recruitment, helped grow new clinic sites, oversaw compliance and achieved outstanding operating results. She has started multiple companies in her native California and led two significant startups in Nashville.Her personal life includes two children – Kara, an attorney & Jordan, a surgeon; both live in Southern California – a commitment to giving back & passion for wellness, prevention & the environment. She has been a member of numerous organizations: Chair for Heart & Soul benefit for the American Heart Association, Incarnation Cathedral Parish Council, lay minister & capital campaigns, Historic Germantown Neighborhood Board, and was appointed by Mayor Karl Dean to the NECAT Network Board. Susan was particularly honored to join the Cumberland River Compact Board; serving on committees, where she continued her efforts to leave Nashville & middle-Tennessee just a bit better than when she arrived.A serial entrepreneur, Susan remains an advocate for prevention & wellness, easy access to affordable care, and end of life. She is writing a book chronicling the final journey with her good friend who died in June 2016 from MS.
