• Managing all communications and marketing activities for a local baby bank, in line with the charity’s brand values and strategic plan.• Planning, writing and scheduling daily social media posts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Proactively seeking new content amongst the core team, volunteers and key partners. • Creating digital and offline assets using Canva Pro and Photoshop Elements. • Writing press releases and liaising with local media outlets when required. In addition, providing spokesperson quotes on request.• Editing, enhancing and maintaining the charity’s website. Managing the website rebuild, working closely with the web agency to audit the existing site, create new content and ensure each user’s journey was clear and informative. • Identifying and writing stories to support the charity’s aims, raise awareness and attract support.• Developing and issuing monthly e-newsletters, for both community and referral partner audiences.• Working closely with, and supporting, the Community Ambassador with event planning, and building ongoing partnerships with community groups, schools, local businesses and corporate sponsors.

• Taking over the social media business accounts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, using Hootsuite to publish. • Designing and creating competitions to cross-promote across different channels, as well as targeted Facebook ads.

• Successfully setting up the Marketing Department for a local domestic and commercial heating company. Initiating the marketing plan, prioritising and implementing activities to drive company sales. • Launching and promoting the company’s new WordPress website, working alongside appointed web agency. • Conducting online customer surveys.• Presenting to industry manufacturers and building relationships with sales reps to facilitate job referrals, price negotiations and training opportunities.

Originating, managing and implementing a wide range of marketing projects for the development and leasing property portfolio. Being the marketing champion for multiple teams, understanding each project’s requirements and creating a brief based on these. Worked closely with agencies to deliver on time and within budget. A significant achievement was organising B2B networking events with retail tenants to help them with small business matters and marketing, this involved sourcing key speakers, for example a Google spokesperson ran a workshop on how to drive website traffic for small businesses.

Assisting in delivering the B2B marketing plans for two major retail-led developments in Liverpool (Liverpool One) and Cambridge (Grand Arcade). Working closely with the sales team, this included: launch events and trade show exhibitions; brochures, leaflets and giveaways; and email campaigns. Daily responsibilities included media coverage analysis and producing monthly reports.

In-house IT support which gave me an appreciation of excellent customer service, and a solid IT background.
