I have experience with a variety of different editing tools for media, as well as being able to film. Perhaps what I find myself best at though is writing and coming up with creative ideas for films, commercials, projects--anything you can stick a camera in front of, and cinematography. I also have 18 years of experience and training in a variety of dance styles ranging from classical pointe ballet to modern dance and hip-hop. These skills as a dancer may not be essential to creating material for film, but I do believe that it has taught me to find effective ways to express myself without using words--a different way of telling a story, as well as being very aware of my own feelings, and has taught me to have a direct idea or inspiration and how to run with it to make it happen. With dance, along with classes I've taken in college so far, I've developed a knack for coming up with creative ideas for projects and successfully working with others to create our message; which is what is most important to me. I've also began writing for the newly formed EKU branch of The Odyssey and have choreographed a piece for EKU Dance Theatre's 2016 Spring concert. Check it out below!
