A computational physics, high-performance computing (HPC) researcher with a goal to leverage my software development skills to solve challenging problems for the benefit of society. I am a University of Michigan graduate with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Scientific Computing (dual degree). I offer 5+ years of experience in research and development of GPU-accelerated numerical algorithms and applications in high-performance computing (HPC) fields within scientific computing and data analytics. I have domain expertise in computational physics, with a focus in areas related to fluid mechanics, turbulence modeling, and multiphase flows. Additionally, I have been involved in writing research proposals and reports for grants and fellowships in scientific computing and HPC.Highlights:► Employed large-eddy simulation (LES) techniques to investigate the transfer of energy and separation control mechanisms for turbulent boundary layer flow over a backward-facing ramp.► Developed and optimized a numerical algorithm with 10,000+ lines of code written in modern C++ with GPU programming and mixed-precisioin floating-point arithmetic, for high-quality and performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures. ► Interned at Los Alamos National Laboratory and collaborated with domain scientists to research on enhancing code portability with C++ Kokkos library and containerization of an open-source scientific application for large-scale cosmological simulations of supernovae explosions on leadership HPC platforms.
