• Designing of inventory norms for all critical RMs based on prevailing economic scenario.• Formulation Of Deduction norms for all RMs in case of deviation from standard quality specs.• Identification and analysis of viability of new cheaper material based on value in use model.• Ensuring planning of RM (SS, MS, Ferro Alloys & Other Consumables) for next production 3 Month production forecast cycle. as per the concept of optimization so that cheapest RM cost input can be achieved while not comprising the safe inventory taking into consideration the lead time of every material from point of purchase to point of usage.•Planning of SS & MS Scrap, Ferro Alloys, Refractories & other process consumables for Jindal Stainless Ltd. from various domestic & imported sources to ensure smooth & continuous operation of the plant while maintaining safety stock norms and organization profitability.• Planning and coordination of movement of different RM’s and Refractories from different part of the world.• Coordinated with PPC & SMS in order to prepare the daily production planning out of a domain of around 60 grades. • Ensuring usage of cheapest optimized raw material in charge mix (Daily Charge Planning) while taking into account the process parameters.• Ensuring testing and quality of incoming raw material and proposing suitable deductions in case of any deviation. •Management of processing of material and internal movement of RM & process generated scrap into plant.•Compilation of Value In Use Sheets for procurement and production department.•Generation of MIS reports & presentation for strategic planning and to keep track of the past & current performance of plant across different bench marked parameters.•Calculation of Waterfall of variance across different stake holders so as to identify plug KPA’s with corresponding action plan.•Member of Budget Preparation Committee of plant.
