NOT JUST A SALES PERSON...Trucking and Bulk transportation operations are the common thread of most of my career.I started my Sales career in 1990, working for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines until CLTL ceased to exist. As a person new to Sales, I took 2 major companies from the $250k mark to well over $3 million - Merck and IFF; salvaged the BASF account and took over Air Products. I also established and operated an on site terminal at Dow Chemical in Bayonne, NJ for 3 years. Maintained the highest standards in that industry - 98.5 overall performance standard. After that, I moved to S Jersey - made a choice to raise my kids - vs nanny. Sold a lot of forklifts in S J - Cat, Linde, Toyota. Back to the trucking industry - the highlights of which were: participating in DVRPC meetings, including a MIT Future Freight Flow study; creating Smart-Way Transport partnerships. Currently I work at JBR Staffing, which allowed me to make two major changes in my life - I no longer travel a 91,000 sq mi territory, and I work with very well intentioned, nice people. So... no more amusing (to me) Mad Max, Road Warrior posts and pictures! This also allows me to indulge in more creative pastimes - most of my back yard is a vegetable/herb/perennial garden. Also, I design and create apparel and home fashions.My greatest achievement is raising two smart, capable kids - my daughter is a textile design major, PhilaU, my son is a cinematographer in LA; BFA, Brooks Institute at the age of 20!
