My past experience in the medical field includes time as an office manager for a dentist, back office assistant in training and the head of the medical records department for a large medical company. I have been working as a developmental/behavioral therapist for over 24yrs; providing private, in home therapy to children with autism and various developmental disabilities as a direct care provider. The services I provide and how they are carried out depend on the individual needs of each client. In addition to providing direct services, I am assiting other providers; training them on the company scheduling program, how to meet/greet families, goal updates for clients and training on how to implement/monitor goals. In 2022, I added 2 additional titles: provider supervisor and vocational rehab job coach. In addtion to continuing my work with individuals, as a service provider, I am a private tutor for children as young as 4 to young adults in college studying various subjects.Specialties: Communication, behavioral program implementation, training other providers, writing attainable goals for children with developmental disabilities. assisting parents and caregivers in helping their children work on and achieve progress on their goals, and attending school meetings to help bridge the gap between home and school-create communication and teamwork for all involved in furthering a child's success.
