Profile bio

About Suzanne Boxman, Phd

We need an increasing quantity of natural resources to ensure that the global population has adequate food, water, and shelter. Simply extracting resources to meet growing demand is no longer an acceptable path. Therefore, I believe it is critical that we use life cycle thinking to develop innovative solutions for reducing, reusing, and recovering resources. I have over 6 years of experience in applying life cycle thinking to develop solutions to prevent the unnecessary waste of natural resources. I have worked in the water sector recovering nutrients from wastewater to fertilize novel food production systems and the solid waste sector looking at strategies to advance sustainable materials management. Currently, I work at the Environmental Research and Education Foundation where I manage the non-profit's internal research projects on sustainable waste management.

Listed skills include Research, Powerpoint, Microsoft Office, Data Analysis, and 9 others.
