As co-owner and Managing Director of Propability, Suzanne stands in a pivotal position responsible for the profitability of the company, talent acquisition, day-to-day business procedures, new-business and is also acting Finance Director. She is responsible for a full time team of 12 staff and up to 50 freelancers in busy periods. Setting up Propability in 2005 with husband Tyrone, Suzanne has built the business into one of the leading suppliers of Window Display and VM solutions to major retailers. For the retail and events industries dependent on high quality design services and the production of props and sculpts – Suzanne oversees all the day-to-day factors involved in the business, implementing the essential elements of costings, processes and systems required for the smooth running of the office and workshop of this growing South West London business.

In 2005, Propability won a major contract with White Stuff, the British fashion and lifestyle brand to produce Props for all their Christmas windows. The same year Propability were commissioned to produce the Christmas windows for Hamleys of London (a magical Postman Pat theme) and a Narnia Staircase at the same store - having to deal directly with Disney and the C.S. Lewis Estate for approval. As a result, Propability were quickly approached directly by the VM team at the Disney Store. Over the years Propability has worked across the fashion industry installing bespoke props, displays and fittings in all the European fashion capitals for brands including: Aquascutum, GAP, Harrods and Fenwick. Propability also handled the theming, props and stage elements for five consecutive years for the Retail Trust Ball. In 2011, the company embarked on a project with Disney that would change the nature of the business. The task was to build a castle within the Oxford Street flagship store that would characterize the interior of the building and occupy the entire store built across all three floors! Disney remains as a key client and Propability as a preferred supplier. Projects have included life size sculpts of various superheroes and characters from Disney and Marvel films including Spiderman and Ironman. Also, window and store development concepts – including the ‘Frozen’ themed retail environment for the Oxford Street, London Disney Flagship Store. This highly successful visual merchandising solution was later installed at the Disney Store in Westfield White City. The entire refurbishment of the Paris Flagship Disney Store on the Champs Elysees is another Propability success.

In 2012, Propability up-scaled operations moving to bigger premises and investing in specialist equipment and new additions to the team that would build significantly on company-wide capabilities and enhance customer service levels to another level. In 2014, Propability entered the Visual Merchandising and Display Awards and were nominated to receive industry recognition for two awards. Acknowledged for their work with Disney for both the Best Non Fashion Retail Concept and the Best International Window.

In 1996 she worked with the fabric and clothing manufacturer Courtaulds as a Men’s Underwear designer and later from 1997 to 2005 as a Senior Women’s-wear Designer (which included a Betty Jackson range, evening wear and casualwear) for Marks and Spencer amongst other high street retailers. Working in design production and clothing over this period she travelled the world visiting factories and learnt the ethos behind the manufacturing business.

Suzanne started her career working as a PA to leading fashion designer Edina Ronay after graduating with a BA in Fashion.
