With over 25 years of experience in the education sector, I am a dedicated and compassionate educator who strives to create a positive and supportive learning environment for my students. My core competencies include pastoral care, wellness, and organization skills, which I have applied in various roles and settings. I am currently a Housemistress at Woldingham School, a leading independent boarding and day school for girls, where I oversee the academic, social, and emotional well-being of the students in my care, and foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and excellence.Previously, I was the Head of Well Being at The King's School, Canterbury, where I was part of the founding team to set up the PSHE programme for the new International College. I designed and delivered engaging and relevant lessons on topics such as mental health, diversity, and citizenship, and collaborated with other staff and external partners to provide holistic support and guidance to the students. I also served as the Founding Housemistress and Head of Extracurricular at Epsom College in Malaysia, where I was part of the founding team for the new campus overseas. I established and managed the boarding house, and coordinated a range of extracurricular activities to enrich the students' learning experience and foster their personal growth. In both roles, I demonstrated my ability to adapt to different cultural contexts, and to create and implement effective policies and practices that promote student well-being and development.
