Woldingham School

One of the oldest schools for girls in the UK, Woldingham provides an outstanding education for boarding and day students aged 11-18. Set in a beautiful 700 acre site, we help students to #WriteYourOwnStory. A vibrant new Sixth Form Centre and Library is due to open in autumn 2024. In a safe and peaceful rural location, Woldingham has excellent transport links from Surrey, Kent, West Sussex and London as well as from overseas. A short drive from both Gatwick and Heathrow, the school is only 25 minutes from London’s Clapham Junction with an exit from Woldingham station straight into the school grounds. Founded in 1842, Woldingham is a Catholic Sacred Heart School. The school's ethos is encapsulated in the five Sacred Heart goals; a bold faith, respect for intellectual values, personal growth, social awareness and building community. The school celebrated its 180th anniversary in 2022. The school is a member of the Sacred Heart network of 150 schools in 41 countries. In 2022 Woldingham won an Independent School of the Year Award.
