My first career was at the Veteran's Administration for over 23 years as a mental health provider. I spent the last twelve of those years working in our Military2VA program providing mental health assessment and therapy to veterans transitioning from the DOD to the VA. Prior to that I worked in our outpatient PTSD clinic. I spent six years as a consultant for the national VA Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia dissemination initiative. I have been trained and certified in multiple evidence based cognitive behavioral therapies through the VA. I started part time private practice in spring of 2019 and have transitioned to this full time the end of 2021. I have several social workers working under my clinical supervision. I am approved by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health as a clinical supervisor.
