As a manufacturing leader, engineer and master seamstress with over 30 years of experience, I am committed to delivering high-quality products and services to the military and power sectors, where reliability, safety, and innovation are paramount. Most recently, I served as the Vice President of Manufacturing at American Power Source, a leading provider of power systems and components for various applications and industries.In this role, I oversee the production, quality, and logistics of our power solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual standards. I also leverage my expertise in lean methodologies, such as one piece flow, continuous flow, and six sigma, to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction. Previously, I held several leadership roles at Exxel Outdoors, where I managed the manufacturing of specialty military products, such as tents, sleeping bags, and other end items for the US Army and other defense agencies. I also led the implementation of their premier start-up manufacturing facility inside FCI Aliceville using lean principles and best practices across the organization, resulting in increased productivity, profitability, and innovation.
