A member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (MILT) and a loyal, hard working, flexible manager with over 27 years experience in Arriva London (buses) specialising in multi site transport operations. I enjoy a challenge and love variety, being self motivated I am able to multi-task on various different tasks seeing them through from start to finish of which I have never missed a deadline whilst also managing a small team.My role since 2009 has been in compliance / internal audit (operations) and covers many areas whilst ensuring that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, local agreements, diverse customer needs and legislation. Also utilised to carry out investigations / external audits in other regions of the business to ensure compliance throughout Arriva UK Bus.Responsible for managing and monitoring all areas of compliance including company policies, procedures, Contract Compliance (TfL), ISO 9001, DVLA/SA, OCRS, GDPR, FTA, Transport Manager compliance, local agreements, drivers cost efficiency, legislative requirements, internal operational audits whilst committed to developing and improving best practise and processes across the whole spectrum of operations and non technical engineering management at garage level (15 locations) which also includes providing training as and when required. Effective in implementing changes to evolve working processes and to ensure that mandated requirements are maintained at all times.From 2022, responsible for assurance, compliance and ICS across the whole of UK Bus in addition to covering governance and risk/BCP. ESG CSRD, BSOG and PCI Compliance from 2024.Super User for OPAL and DAS.I also enjoy challenging myself outside of work, reached black tag in Taekwondo but due to health and time constraints I am currently taking a break. I believe the five tenets - Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit taught in this sport and the training and time spent as a Special Constable in Sussex Police have helped me to become the person I am today.
