I am a CEDR accredited commercial mediator and a highly accomplished commercial litigator with over 14 years’ experience at Hogan Lovells, a top global law firm. My dispute resolution experience is predominantly focused on high value, high profile banking and finance disputes, disputes arising out of contentious insolvency, director and/or shareholder disputes and general commercial disputes. It extends to a number of other practice areas including, private equity, real estate, pensions and intellectual property. As a commercial mediator, I facilitate the rapid and cost-effective resolution of disputes and differences, enabling organisations and individuals to focus their full attention on their core business. By listening, empathising and asking well considered questions, I help people to reflect, identify obstacles to resolution and formulate the building blocks for settlement. I support people to communicate, negotiate and frame settlement proposals more effectively. During the mediation process, I maintain momentum, create a problem solving environment and guide the parties on their journey to resolution. My background and experience as a commercial litigator at Hogan Lovells is fundamental to what I offer, as is my knowledge of psychology, negotiation, influence and decision-making. I can be appointed as a commercial mediator of any dispute and also provide mediation training within law firms and to their clients.
