As a lead teacher, I was responsible for planning the curriculum and teaching fifteen children ranging in age from three to five years old. I organized my classroom in a way that best promoted the development of each child's character and individuality within a loving and caring environment. I worked to maintain high standards of academic excellence and freedom while encouraging the children to discover and fulfill their potential. As a lead teacher I assessed each child's progress and provided two extensive parent teacher conferences per year. I also helped evaluate incoming kindergarten students.In addition to teaching I served on a principal search committee and I chaired the Isaacs reaccreditation committee for two years, attending meetings, generating reports and interviewing teachers and parents. I also attended many continuing education classes.I left my teaching career to purse an education in Real Estate.
