Responsibilities: * Provide effective account management relating to order approval and collection functions on key (critical) accounts for 20+ branches.* Conduct thorough credit investigation, utilizing Dun & Bradstreet, Bank & Trade references, financial statements, various other credit reports/websites.* Analyze information to determine proper credit limits to a level of $25K and recommend order approval up to $100K limit.* Provide timely monitoring of at risk/large volume accounts.* Communicate credit risks/opportunities to internal partners and management.* Review customer orders daily to determine release/hold status.* Conduct Needs Assessment and perform Root Cause Analysis to ascertain and communicate recurring customer needs to leadership. Accomplishments:* Recognized ability to identify, address and resolve complex billing disputes and issues for customers with annual sales of > $1M. * Assisted team in reducing Corporate DSO, (Days Sales Outstanding) goal by 2 days, which increased the company cash flow by $25M per day. * Recovered $111,907.68 of an aging balance in 90 days, on a large volume customer with a credit line >$500K. * Identified/resolved invoicing issues, which brought the aging balance to within Net 45 day terms, a marked improvement.* Consistently achieved “exceeds expectations” in annual performance reviews for achieving company-established objectives for collection effectiveness.
