I started out as an apprentice bricklayer with Barratt Homes completing my NVQ Level 3. During this period I was awarded Apprentice of the Year and represented Redcar and Cleveland College in Skill Build Competitions. From this I then progressed onto my HNC in Building Studies where I secured a position with Laing O'Rourke. I started the Cadet training scheme which supported me through part time University and business modules. I finished university in June 2015 where I graduated with a first class BSc Hons in Construction Management. I continued to deliver projects with Laing O'Rourke along with starting my CIPS Accreditation and MSc in Strategic Project Management. From Laing O'Rourke I then started a Regional Procurement Construction and Compliance role and completed my masters is Strategic Project Management. I am currently working on the Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Programme as a Procurement Manager running Public Procurement Tenders.
