I am a management-side employment lawyer, representing employers of all sizes and in all industries, from small mom and pop businesses to some of the largest employers in Southwest Florida. I am passionate about helping my clients proactively and cost-effectively resolve their workplace issues. I frequently conduct workplace training sessions and wage/hour audits; drafts handbooks and other workplace policies; and guide clients on employee termination, leave, and disciplinary issues. When litigation cannot be avoided, I represent my clients in employment litigation and before employment agencies including the EEOC, FCHR, DOL, and NLRB. I am very involved in our local community, and currently serve on several local boards, including the SHRM SWFL Board of Directors, the FGCU Foundation Board of Directors, the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Board of Directors, and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Foundation Board of Directors. I previously served as a Trustee for the Canterbury School, as Chair of Florida Bar Grievance Committee 20A, and was a founding member of Leadership NEXT. I am proud to be one of fewer than 200 attorneys in Florida who are Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law. After spending 12 years practicing at the largest law firm in Southwest Florida, I became a founding member of Boy Agnew Potanovic, PLLC, a boutique law firm focusing on employment, business, and government. Other than leaving for college and law school, I have lived in Southwest Florida since I was six years old. I grew up in LaBelle, where my parents still live. I currently live in Matlacha with my husband, children, and our dog, Fisher.
