Whether counseling and treatment for contraception, family planning, fertility, genetic screening, sexuality, sexually transmitted disease counseling and testing, cancer screening, or exploring symptoms of gynecologic and sometimes non-gynecologic issues, open communication and strong partnerships with patients maximized opportunities for excellence in care. I sought and obtained the highest level of certification (AAAA) for office procedures in collaboration with anesthesia to offer patients the choice of sedation while maximizing safety. I provided the highest level of diagnostic and operative office procedures such as hysteroscopy, Essure® Thermachoice® endometrial ablation, colposcopy, biopsies, and LEEP procedures. Obstetric patients received thorough and fulfilling pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and birth experiences with care focused on their individual needs, wishes, and medical conditions. In-office fetal testing included genetics services, fetal NSTs, sonography, and amniocentesis.
