Administered Long Term Disability, Survivor Income Benefits & Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Designed and automated systems for both the Long-Term Disability and Survivor Income Benefit plans. Administered the hourly and salaried Deferred Profit Sharing plans. These included over 26,000 accounts with assets of $500 million (both 401(a) and 401(k)) and were spread across seven subsidiary locations. Revised and approved hardship withdrawals and distributions. Reconciled investment elections, contributions and payments. Transferred money from one fund to another, according to fund elections made by employees. Coordinated administration of all seven locations. Participated in design of automated system. Developed forms and procedures. Directed new-employee orientation. Conducted once-a-week meetings for all new employees explaining the various benefits plans our company offered. Studied and learned systems in order to convey requisite results to programmers to convert manual to computerized systems. People and communication skills were of primary importance to the writing of good and workable computer programs. The original manual systems required me to be extremely detail-oriented.
