I am responsible for the day to day operations of HCI Africa, as well as having executive responsibility for all HCI Africa initiatives which seek to stimulate and advance strategic talent management practices.

I was tasked with facilitating the articulation of the group’s strategy and translating it into understandable and implementable people solutions and frameworks.

I reported to the Group HR Director and was responsible for assessing the success of, and recommending, strategic human performance interventions across the Standard Bank Group. I was responsible for developing and delivering a 360 degree leadership assessment programme, and for using results from this programme to further inform and design human and organisation performance interventions.

I established the Human Capital Consulting division of the Standard Bank HR Shared Services. This division comprised of 11 expert teams, providing customised services complimenting and supporting the service provided to line executives by the Human Resource consultants in the lines of business. The team grew from a zero base to 43 staff over a 6 month period, and was delivering measurable value within this time frame.

I played a role in the Sun International IT transformation programme - developing the skill and capability profiles for the IT positions, defining learning and development paths for IT professionals in the group and establishing broad based IT literacy and development programmes.

I managed the delivery of the organisation development workstream of a global business change programme.
