Community work-study placed at Margaret Brent Elementary and Middle School - a Title I Baltimore City school. Supervise the afterschool programs in order to ensure the programs run efficiently and smoothly.Coordinate volunteers and volunteer trainings, ensure attendance in programs, and act as the main disciplinary figure. Develop and improve the program; includes discussion meetings with involved organizations (GHCC, CSC, VLP), teachers, on-site VISTA, and principal.I also coordinate the following events: Yearly Talent Show and Middle School Dance.

I coordinated the 2008 Freshman Day of Service for the incoming Johns Hopkins freshman class. Over 500 students participated with over 40 projects in Baltimore City. More than 20 organizations in Baltimore City partnered with us; from schools to churches, and other community based organizations.

It was a busy, multi-tasking position. I worked as the Receptionist for the MD and Chiropractors in the office. I handled the PIP Injury cases, filed subpoenas, worked with the PIP attorneys, made the patient's charts, assisted the office manager with organization and structure, verified insurances, and performed other office duties as needed. As the Chiropractor's assistant I performed ROM Exams, ultrasounds, put heat and ice therapy on the patients, put Electric Stim on the patients, and developed Xrays.
