Terra Gallery was an opportunity to put my artist's eye to work in the fine art realm. I helped in selecting incoming pieces for showing in the gallery, and met with clientele who commissioned our artists for custom pieces for their homes or places of business. I even worked on several of the pieces that were commissioned!I also did some work calling.

As a design intern, I executed customers' designs, fabricated designs per customers' requests, and prepared films for screen printing. It was here that I first used Corel Draw X4, and demonstrated my ability to learn new programs proficiently. I worked alone, mostly, so time management was key in getting all required designs finished.

Being an office assistant was my first job in an office setting, so I learned many things. My phone skills grew tremendously, as answering phones was my primary duty. I also learned how to handle printer/copiers (and how to unjam them), did some medical filing, and created flyers for use in office and in the field.
