My responsibilities include managing and mentoring teams of AWS experts, driving business growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within these units. My role involved driving business development and managing expert teams specializing in cloud-based Modern Application Development and DevOps on Amazon Web Services (AWS). I oversaw the design and delivery of solutions that solve the challenges of digitalization for our customers, utilizing AWS services and expertly filling any gaps with tailored software development. My teams were skilled in modern software architecture and agile methodologies, building serverless and microservices-based solutions over monoliths.

As the owner and manager of it:matters, a company I founded in 2010, I specialize in e-learning, technology-enhanced learning, web engineering, and multilateral European projects. With over two decades of experience in the IT consulting business, mainly focused on SMEs in the healthcare and craft sectors, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to it:matters. Since the launch of the company, I have been involved in nine EU-funded projects as an expert and project manager for technology-enhanced learning and e-learning. Our focus is on bringing new and emerging technologies to vocational schools, universities, and universities of applied sciences, transferring innovations from tertiary to secondary education.

As a Team Lead (Manager) at Materna in the Digital Enterprise business line and Applications and Portals department, I was responsible for leading teams in the development of individual software applications, Cloud Computing and mobile development as well as innovative products. I also played a key role in requirements engineering, business development, and supporting sales efforts. I provided consulting services on mobile and Internet of Things technologies, and was responsible for designing internal processes.

As a Master Project Manager at Materna in the Digital Enterprise business line and Applications and Portals department, I was responsible for leading complex projects in the development of individual software applications, Cloud Computing and mobile development. I also played a key role in requirements engineering, supporting sales, and providing consulting services on mobile, cloud and Internet of Things technologies. Additionally, I was responsible for designing internal processes that align with project goals and timelines.

As a Project Manager and Consultant at Eggheads, I specialized in Product Information Management (PIM) systems, with a focus on the tourism sector. I was responsible for managing and delivering PIM projects, and providing expert consulting services to clients. I spent a significant amount of time working on-site in Oberursel, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of PIM systems.

As a Researcher and Project Manager at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, I was affiliated with the Institute of Computer Sciences. My role involved managing national and europe-wide projects, as well as bid manager for European calls for tender. I had a strong focus on web technologies, logistics, ubiquitous computing, and embedded systems. My research was specifically focused on technology-enhanced learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and web engineering. In addition to these responsibilities, I also served as a lecturer for "Software Development for Mechatronics" and "Web Engineering" for computer science students.
