"Knowledge is power. Knowledge shared is power multiplied." This a great quote by Robert Noyce and one that reflects my belief. I suffered a life-changing injury whilst serving with the British Army in 2009. This injury brought an end to life as I knew it with not only losing parts of my body, but also parts of my identity. The ramifications of this event was devastating on me and those around me. The effects were felt far and wide. In dealing with this change, I learned a lot of valuable lessons that I want to share so that it can help others.Since my incident, I have become a devoted father of four children, a business owner and a motivational speaker who reaches out to those who are in need of support, inspiration and strength to deal with their life changing circumstances.My aim is to help people recognise how much they can do themselves in a situation where everything seems to go against them. Life is too short, and is for living!
