I did customer service at the cash register for customers. I handled customers’ money and gave them appropriate greetings while asking them to come back and see us. I counted the money to reconcile cash deposits and prepare change orders frequently. I ran to the bank frequently for change orders and to drop off deposits. I communicated with appropriate supervisors regarding money discrepancies and we found solutions as a team.

• Assessed writing tests by 8th grade students from Florida on a 1-4 scale in order to indicate student’s level of proficiency. • Collaborated with other employees - supervisors and colleagues – by meeting throughout the day in order to better facilitate the testing and work out any issues with the scoring criteria. • Scored 120 writing entries a day with accuracy, which met DRC’s specific job requirements.

• Conducted administrative tasks - such as emailing students weekly - for a Philosophy (PHIL) 300 course, so that the professor would be freed up to focus on the philosophical topics of the course. • Wrote the exams in essay question format per the professor’s request. • Graded homework assignments and exams to facilitate student success.

I assisted Husker student-athletes with their homework and other applicable assignments. This allowed them to remain academically eligible to compete and also to receive an undergraduate education.

I supervised high-school students for one week at a Christian worldview/leadership camp; I did the same thing the following summer.
