Handle all aspects of case management, from initial retention of clients to resolution at mediation or trialConduct extensive review and analysis of commercial construction contracts in determining allocation of jobsite responsibilities as well as indemnification and defense obligations in the event of litigationEvaluate and analyze insurance contracts and policies for purposes of issuing coverage opinions and determining possible coverage issues for insured defendantsDraft and negotiate complex release and settlement agreements on behalf of clients to ensure the successful conclusion of litigationRoutinely take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses Participate in court hearings and settlement conferences involving a variety of complex civil litigation matters
