I am responsible for delivering projects for Howorth across a wide range of product ranges. These projects range from modest drum transfer hatch projects that are completed in 12 weeks to complex multi-Isolator projects that need the integration of multiple third-party vendors over a 24-month period. My current project portfolio comprises clients from many cultures and time zones, such as Singapore and the United States. My primary responsibilities include liaising with the design team to generate design documentation to the clients' specifications, managing and controlling the numerous risk factors throughout the project's lifecycle (cost, procurement lead times, etc.), planning resources to keep the project on track, and establishing cohesion among the various project stakeholders by leading regular update meetings with the customer and external vendors.

Main role is to oversee the standard product range, the GFD. Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of all of the GFD projects, from maintaining adequate stock levels to efficiently planning the work schedule of the GFD Technician. I had the opportunity to be assigned larger system contracts to allow me to execute my skills and knowledge over a longer delivery schedule project.

Responsible for reviewing client URS’s, bringing queries and technical solutions to the attention of the sales manager. My key responsibilities included preparation of budgetary and formal quotation from specification generated from a variety of sources varying from small scale to full turnkey projects. Other responsibilities include preparing and progressing subcontractor and equipment enquiries looking for "Best Value" both commercially and technically where this would not affect the quality/safety of the project.

Support the Sales Department in pre and post sales activity by providing quotations, technical responses and maintaining an effective communication with customers through the order fulfilment and project coordination delivery

Working on the production line assembling 2 types of Jaguar Land Rover Models. Working on numerous tasks ensuring they are completed within the specified tact times. Constant Kaizen improvement analysis to efficiently complete the given tasks.

Responsilble for the acceptance checking and distribution of the daily stock deliveries within the store.Use of computerised systems including SAP to check the inventory of deliveries. During my time gained Fork Lift Licence to enable unloading from lorries to goods receiving.Out of 30 temporary staff recruited for the Christmas period, I was one of only three that were offered a permanent position.

Some of the roles I was involved in during my Student Placement were:• Testing of footballs for their various physical characteristics (FIFA Requirements)• Performed tests on potential new materials (Water Absorption)• Assisted in the creation of the new designs for the 2011 Ball Range• Contributed to the Special Make Up (SMU) Process for company specific balls• Kept an up-to-date database of the whole SMU process using Microsoft Excel• Using existing designs, created all the artwork for 2010/2011 Football League and SPL balls (Using Adobe Illustrator)• Assisted at the 2011 International Conference (Set Up, Create presentations)• Associated with overseas partners, based all over the world• Communicated with Factories via telephone and e-mail, based in Asia
