Primary advisor to the Adjutant General of Florida on intelligence and security matters affecting the Florida National Guard. Responsible for the planning and execution of joint intelligence activities. Responsible for Incident Awareness and Assessment (collection) activities during National Guard Civil Support and Defense Support of Civil Authorities operations. Responsible for interagency coordination in support of intelligence initiatives. Responsible for ensuring intelligence support to Antiterrorism and Operations Security programs. Program manager of record for the following Florida National Guard programs: Information Security, Special Security, Intelligence Oversight, Industrial Security, Personnel Security, Foreign Disclosure and Operations Security.

Senior Intelligence Officer for Florida National Guard domestic operations.

Advised the command and staff of an Infantry Brigade Combat Team on intelligence and security matters. I led a section of intelligence professionals in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of timely and relevant intelligence in support of combat operations and Defense Support to Civil Authorities operations. I advised the command and staff on Antiterrorism, Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, and Operations Security Programs. I am responsible for ensuring intelligence support and oversight to military orders production, and various plans and policies.

Coordinated the disclosure and release of classified military information and controlled unclassified information to represenatives of foreign governments. I conducted liaison and coordination with other staff within the supported command, national agencies, other combatant commands, and organizations regarding foreign disclosure matters. I prepared and conducted training for the command staff on foreign disclosure policy, procedure, and foreign communications dissemination systems. I developed tactical level foreign disclosure policy for the command and assisted security officials (SSO) when necessary in preparing for security program inspection. Deployed to Djibouti Africa for mission support at Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa. Provided theater specific Foreign Disclosure training to SOCOM senior staff and analytical team post-deployment.

Provided the vision, leadership, discipline and mission focus for a multi-discipline military intelligence unit of 90 Soldiers. Supervised and evaluated the performance of 10 junior commissioned officers and Warrant Officers. Planned and conducted training, oversaw human resource processes, provided guidance and leadership to Soldiers trained in over 10 different intelligence specialties. Prepared the unit for deployment. Maintained accountability of over 3 million dollars of tactical equipment. Ensured readiness and certification of Unmanned Aerial Systems platoon. Worked closely with brigade intelligence section to ensure effective intelligence support to brigade operations.

Performed 12-15 annual security inspections of industrial complexes, i.e. (Port of Miami, Port of Jacksonville, Port Everglades etc.) annually throughout Florida. Assisted in the development of inspection criteria to enhance the inspection process and security readiness at all federally funded deepwater seaports in Florida. Interacted directly with officials in various law enforcement agencies in joint efforts during inspections. Assisted in the development and oversight of an operational budget. I routinely participated and led the compilation of comprehensive reports of findings and observations in accordance with FL State Legislature security requirements and Maritime Transportation Security Act requirements. Periodically provided intelligence research and analysis of maritime and landside threat in support of the inspection program. Performed liaison functions with port security leadership and staff at 12 active seaports to strengthen security plans and antiterrorism exercises. Frequently represented the command at executive level meetings with Port Authorities and US Coast Guard.

Conducted open source and classified intelligence research and analysis at the Joint Forces Headquarters level. Compiled multi-source intelligence to publish periodic Force Protection Bulletins / Summaries addressing security for over 100 military facilities throughout Florida. Regularly briefed senior officers and executives on intelligence and security issues. Supervised a team of 8 All Source Intelligence Analysts. Prepared reports, assessments, and materials for publications, summaries and other material concerning program operations. Managed a personnel security education and training program with 30 cleared personnel. Established procedures for management of classified holdings. Periodically represented the command in Joint Terrorism Task Force conferences. Prepared and disseminated Situation Reports and updates for command and staff on a daily basis.

Managed 80 - 100+ claimant cases for Social Security Disability Benefits. Conducted new client intakes, interviews, and home conferences. Filed initial applications as well as requests for reconsideration and requests for appeals. I screened potential new clients for Disability, Supplemental Security Income, and Widow/Widowers Disability Benefits applications. I developed Social Security Disability cases at various stages, e.g., Initial Applications, Requests for Reconsideration, and Requests for Hearings. I submitted evidence in support of applications to Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Determinations, and Office of Hearings and Appeals. I wrote summarized requests for approvals based on evidence in file in advance of hearings. I conducted in-person and teleconference initial, follow-up, and pre-hearing conferences with clients. I prepared files for attorney/client meetings at various stages in the application process. I updated case files with supporting medical evidence at regular intervals throughout the application process. I maintained a pre-hearing win rate of 80% for over 4 years.
