Hi there 👋🏽,TL:DR:I specialize in building 0-1 fintech products that leverage open banking, embedded finance / banking-as-a-service, and payroll APIs. The longer story:My journey into the world of product management began when I stumbled upon my current employer, Seedwell, while looking for opportunities to get involved in the fast-evolving arena of Fintech. I joined them as the first product management hire and quickly fell in love with building 0-1 fintech products, especially those within neobanking. What has kept me hooked is the idea of creating a ground-breaking product buoyed by innovations in the sector that didn't exist mere years ago (such as those within open banking, banking-as-a-service, and payroll connectivity).Prior to Seedwell, I worked as an engineering consultant at a boutique firm specialized in mitigating noise and vibration. It's here that I learned to love talking to enterprise customers and solving complex technical problems. One of my most significant accomplishments as an acoustical engineer was having saved customers over $2 million in regulatory penalties and noise control costs.If I'm not at my desk, you'll likely find me coaching beginner volleyball and basketball to adult women. I believe the principles of teamwork, strategy, and continuous improvement that I use on the court are the same ones that drive success in the product management world. I get a real thrill out of solving complex problems and find that there's no better reward than seeing a product you've poured so much time and energy into, finally come to life.
