One of my favorite childhood trinkets was this placemat of the world that I would use during mealtimes. I would devour it (along with the actual food), memorizing all the different countries of the world, their geographical locations and their capitals. To this day, I strongly believe that my life would be drastically different if it weren't for that placemat. Growing up in the Bay Area, I have had the privilege of being surrounded by people of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. I credit this for birthing my passion in storytelling and traveling. This passion only multiplied in high school, where I gained social media, video, and audio production skills and was able to host a podcast focused on featuring fellow peers with exceptional talents. In college, this passion only fanned out as I got involved in a multitude of International Relations and International Business ventures such as an inter-collegiate level mock United Nations team and serving as an ambassador for a startup. I was able to turn my passion for storytelling and traveling into an actual tangible skill that could be used to connect companies and customers on a global standpoint.I have continued to express this passion by fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine by embarking on the Fall 2022 Semester at Sea voyage where I had the privilege of traveling to 12 different countries within a span of 4 months. I have met with people of all walks of life, ranging from the CEO of Crocs to a Palestinian software developer who had beginnings in a refugee camp. I deeply value the benefit of being able to channel people's stories and experiences into my work, using them to analytically allure customers on a global level to products including but not limiting to as digital media, journalism, and various business ventures and products.
