Syam K Ravindran is an experienced Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry supervising MPhil clinical psychology trainees and being involved in patient care. He is a strong education professional working as a teaching faculty in the Department of Clinical Psychology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) since 2012. Skilled in Trauma-informed psychological interventions, Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Clinical Research he has developed a special interest in working with emerging adults. He has been actively involved in conducting workshops on motivational interviewing for professionals working in de-addiction centers. He is also well known for the professional workshops and supervisions on trauma-informed psychological interventions.
