Sydney's attention to detail and desire to collaborate cannot be taught, rather a character trait that she values bringing into any working environment. Her hunger to create stemmed from crafting her own major, at Roger Williams University which enabled this unique challenge to sustain her degree in Visual Communications & Spanish Cultural studies. After obtaining her bachelors, she worked in Manhattan where she was exposed to a level of hustle, discipline and performance she carried with her to Los Angeles.With this, she organically tapped into creative worlds coast to coast which was transformational. Sydney's expertise for aesthetics became credible when she was a merchandiser for visual retail teams, industry styling and events. Her ability to exhibit design and creative direction was acknowledged when she became a Los Angeles district lead merchandiser for Urban Inc.'s Free People/Anthropologie.Throughout her time in retail marketing, she began identifying voids in both brand cohesion and lifestyle identity. This prompted to further her career in Brand Marketing. While at TOMS, Sydney has built, produced & cultivated global marketing programs to target the consumer, uphold brand morale and share the One for One messaging through our retail partners and distributors. Her imagination & innovative ways supported TOMS branding, growth and its significant movement. Sydney is a recognized creative. She is diligent when aligning brand comprehension, marketing visions & allowing endless possibilities for conception.Although she has east coast roots, Sydney now resides in Venice Beach with her son Linus, daughter Sawyer and her husband which (begrudgingly) will (eventually) change her last name to Itzkowitz. She enjoys yoga, crafting, the flower market, Halloween & peanut butter.
