In my role as the External Outreach Executive, I sought to expand the mission of “simply saying thank you” by developing relationships with residents and members of our local community, assisting pre-existing and newly established Big Events through One Big Thanks Conference, seeking out corporate sponsorships and maintaining healthy donor relationships, and contacting various media sources.

Summer Internship with the 442nd District Court, the honorable Judge Haertling presiding.

As a committee member for The Big Event 2020, I helped lead a staff of 250 college students to set up manual labor appointments for local families. I also organized a gala and silent auction to raise funds for the organization.

As a staff assistant for The Big Event 2019, I connected with residents in the local Bryan/College Station community and assisted with the sign up process for the organization. I learned communication skills both verbal and written, and became familiar with managing an efficient system by serving in tool distribution on the day of the event.
