I am a creative communications specialist with expertise in video production and music. Having freelanced for over ten years in TV and video production as well as working for a variety of companies, ministries, and even building my own startup company, I have acquired a variety of skills to become a "Swiss Army Knife" of creativity. Whether it's writing, producing, directing, cinematography, editing, audio, or lighting, I have continued to expand my skill set to become well-versed in multiple areas of video production. I also have a deep love for music and songwriting and have continually sought to better my skills in these areas. From writing over 100 songs, recording and producing my own music, to leading worship and serving on various ministry teams for church services, kids' camps, outreaches, and more, music has always been and will always be an integral part of my life.I attended Tarrant County College in Hurst, TX from 2010 - 2013 where I obtained an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Film & Television. I then jumped into the world of broadcast TV, interning for ICTN and eventually freelancing for three years before going back to school. From 2016 - 2020 I attended The King's University in Southlake, TX where I obtained a Bachelor's of Worship Leadership degree. During this time I furthered my video production skills as I wrote, produced, directed, filmed, and edited content for the university as a student worker. I was also elected to be the Communications/Public Relations Chair for my university's Student Government Association from 2019 - 2020.In October of 2020 I formed my own production company, Redemption House Productions. My business focused on creative storytelling and I was able to do several projects for various ministries, universities, and organizations. In February of 2022 I was hired full time at Gateway Church as a video editor. I spent six months in that role before stepping down to reevaluate what I am wanting in my career.My passions outside of video production and music include advocacy, trauma care, theological studies, mixed martial arts, and nature. I also love working with children and have done so in various capacities through childcare, teaching, physical fitness training, and more. I have a desire to pursue graduate level studies and I have a personal goal to visit as many National Parks as I can! I currently reside in the DFW area, however I am open to relocation - especially if mountains and forests are involved!
