Perform duties on Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland as a Data Collector I. Conduct data synthesis on test equipment (tactical vehicles, robotic and autonomous systems) designed to provide future warfighters with the concepts, capabilities, and organizational structures required to dominate the future battlefield. Engage in on-site collection of reliability, availability, maintainability, logistics supportability, and performance data during the developmental and/or operational testing of military/non-military automotive, electronic, and general support of ordnance material. Examine equipment or test items for flaws or defects; observe operation of tests and record test data. Extract and compile specific data for test directors, engineers, and project managers including narrative form records or other sources such as specifications and drawings to utilize during testing. Leverage technical organizational policies to document complex engineering and testing issues of various communications systems, subsystems, and advanced technology concepts. Interact and work in conjunction with various government and non-government contractor representatives to ensure data accuracy. Engage with Field Service Representatives (FSR) and system integrators to acquire technical details to fully characterize system behavior. Communicate daily testing status to government personnel. Coordinate maintenance and test schedule with mechanics and military equipment testers to reduce amount of downtime during testing. Take immediate action by reporting all actions that affect the safety of personnel, the test project, or the environment.
