• Worked on projects for Rivian and Ford. Directly lead the Ford 8F Gears project.• Lead daily standup meetings to assign tasks for the day, lead APQP meetings to plan and assign long term tasks, also update APQP task sheets. • Worked on quality assurance aspects of components being manufactured for ford, mercury marine, GM and Chrysler• Provide inputs to the manufacturing department based on CMM report.• Perform contamination tests on engine block, engine heads & bell housing, volumetric test on engine heads, and tensile testing on aluminum alloy; further analyze the results using microscope, data analyses charts & graphs• Use quality control tools: Formtracepak, optical comparator, incometer, various gauges (calibration and measuring complicated features), etc.• Learned about core quality tools including Feature specific process capability six pack reports (SPC chart, normal distribution plot, potential ‘Cpk’ & actual ‘Ppk’ capability of a process etc.) and MRB documentations
