Work as a Senior Physiotherapist, delivering physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and goal setting to a caseload of patients mainly involving NEURO and MSK case load.Delivery of an efficient and effective physiotherapy service to patients referred by local G.P’s, Consultants, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs),other health professionals as well as by direct self –referral as appropriate.To be responsible for maintaining competency to practice through maintenance of professional registration, Continuous Professional Development activities and to maintain a portfolio which reflects personal and professional development and evidence of learning beyond registration.To formulate and deliver individual treatment programmes based on sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options, using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and treatment skills, eg exercise therapy, patient education, and other techniques as appropriate.To communicate with other health professionals, caregivers, and family members. As needed, give education and training. To respect everyone’s goals, beliefs, and commitments, and to understand about their priorities, needs, abilities, and limitations. Being truthful about your viewpoint and what you can and cannot do. Be responsible for organizing and planning own caseload and others (e.g. Technical Instructors/Physiotherapy Assistants) and use of other resources to meet service and patient priorities, re-adjusting plans as situations change/arise, e.g. other colleague’s sickness/annual leave.Measure progress and assure intervention effectiveness by monitoring, evaluating, and modifying treatment. Taking opinion from more colleagues and working like a team.Strive to improve people's health and well-being buy promoting programs like stop smoking and obesity awareness, as well as their physiotherapy experiences.Contribute to the development of services and contribute towards overall development of the company/service.
