Mr. Caron has more than 30 years of work experience in mineral processing and specifically, in iron and gold ores. During his career, he has gained experience in technical services and applied R&D in laboratory/pilot plant environment as well as in technology transfer to industrial plants. His recent experience covers engineering studies (from scoping to detailed engineering), production of controlled documents, operating personnel training and coaching, and plant start-up/optimization metallurgical support. His expertise covers comminution (including AG/SAG milling), physical separation (including cyclones), agglomeration and induration, and cyanidation. In regards to his specialities, he was involved in projects related also to ore characterization, mine-to-mill, automation, process control and optimization, modeling and simulation, specialized hardware and software development, plant auditing, and industrial data processing. For many years, Mr. Caron has held a position of senior metallurgist, project manager and team leader.
