Nous soutenons nos adhérents dans les domaines des affaires publiques et règlementaires en France et en Europe, de la communication, du développement et du marketing des carburants (SP95-E10 et Superéthanol E85 pour les véhicules légers), et de la certification de durabilité des biocarburants à travers notre soutien au schéma volontaire 2BS reconnu par la Commission européenne.

BP CHEMICALS, JV with Solvay for HDPE, London 7 plants, 1 MT HDPE plastics, 730M Deliver synergies with the teams and plants of both JV partners in an oversupplied market. Plan production: reduce stocks by 30% (-25M€), increase share of specialties from 40% to 60%. Buy, sell and swap raw material (ethylene), and integrate in BP’s supply system. Focus the team of 7 planners in 4 countries on the production optimisation project.

BP-AMOCO CHEMICALS, Geneva, and London from 19991 MT of PTA, revenues of 500M€, world N°1 Build a European leadership position based on a better view of market changes. Produce 10 years market forecasts (polyester fibres and PET for bottles, including recycling). Support investment projects (100,000T, +15%) and produce customer presentations. Advocate BP views at the European Commission (trade, antitrust).

RHÔNE-POULENC FIBRES / RHODIA, Tergal® Fibres B.U., Lyon and plant of Saint-Quentin (Picardie) Polyester fibres for textiles Retain customers despite Asian imports : increased sales by 20% to 10000 Tonnes (1/3 of total sales, +20%, 15M€ ), with a 10% price premium, valuing productivity increase at customers Successful launch of specialty fibres (microfibre) : identify target markets, recruit and manage a team of specialised consultants, create communication tools and promote products to textile firms.

RHÔNE-POULENC FIBRES / RHODIA, Kermel® business unit, Manchester and Lyon, Flame retardant fibres for protective clothing  Prove sustainability of the business by launching the product outside of France, in Europe: build direct promotion methods in the UK and transfer them to other European entities (Germany, Spain…). 15% of overall sales in the UK.
