My title at Sephora was a Skincare Expert but I was given the privilege of assisting clients throughout all departments. I got to work with clients in creating their perfect skin care regimen for their skin concerns and skin type and even perform mini facials. I applied makeup on clients from Hollywood glam to a natural "no makeup" makeup look. Educating my client through each step of the application allowed me to understand the needs of my clients. From there I would be able to recommend products and techniques to clients making it an experience verses a sales pitch. I would walk clients through haircare to help them find the products that best suits their lifestyle and hair needs. Guiding them through each note of a fragrance to find the one that would perfectly fit their personality. Aside from working with clients on the sales floor and helping as a cashier when needed. I assisted operations with floor updates, putting out merchandise, packaging returns/ damages to be sent out, assist with keeping the stores SHRINK percentage at a minimum.I was able to participate in brand trainings to learn the new and trending techniques, ingredients and products on the market. As a store we would assist brands with client engagement and sales goals.
