Managing the North County Black Infant Health program at Neighborhood House Association, my work encompasses strategic leadership and community engagement, aiming to propel the program’s growth to over 160 women annually. Our team integrates services that uphold the wellbeing of Black mothers, guided by research and best practices while fostering collaboration with other community-based organizations and healthcare systems.As a public health professional underpinned by certifications within maternal health and process improvement, I am committed to health equity. Founding the San Diego Black Birthworkers Collective to amplify our collective impact, and foster a network that champions birth justice while nurturing community resilience.
